Ken Montgomery

1971 Photo;
Ken installed the 1969 rear deck molding on the 1968 BO29 Hemi Barracuda, so he could run Pro/Stock (2-year rule),,,,,and he got away without changing the tail-lights, and round side-light markers.

Ken, also won Super/Stock Eliminator at the NHRA Summernationals in 1971.

1971 NED 1 Pro/Stock Meet @ Dover Drag Strip, Wingdale, New York

Ken in 1970,,,,in Pro/Stock, but still with SS/B lettered on the 'C' pillar.

Soon after, converted to A/MP in 1972.

Paul, I stopped at a Kokomo In. speed shop today asking about Tom Crutchfield. One guy in the engine shop used to race with him at Bunker Hill and is from the same area. He said he could find out some info for us. This guy remembered Toms Hemi cars well. Tom. Just a little something to get this thread going again.

Dyno Don,,,,,,,,,at Indy...1969 Nationals

Dyno Don ran Jerry Harvey's 1966 Mustang, the former A/FX car in A/MP in 1969.
3 months earlier, Mr. Nicholson won the 69' Springnationals 'Street Eliminator' in this car.
Where he set the A/MP National Record at 10.49

I'm new to the forum.
Regarding post 1136, the red Hemi Dart running against Dyno Don was discussed some time ago in the SS Yahoo Group. #343 at the '69 Nationals was listed as Bill Shrewsberry '68 Hemi Dart entered by Arlen Vanke. A Tom Myl photo of the car was posted in the SS group.

Thanks for the info on "Wild Bill" Shrewsberry too. I remember hearing where he'd grab a ride from different teams from time to time. Take care.
