I know it kinda takes away from the .4 pro tree "experience" but I say let em add .1 and lets all race on a .5 pro tree. Issue resolved. As far as dragsters have an advantage, screw that lets race!!!!!!

Hey Chris, can I borrow a wally for the race, I think you have a couple laying around the house that you use for paper weights......haha just kidding.

I can work on getting a wally if you want one, I guess some people still care about the trophy rather then 10 grand. I am going to call Dave Ley next week and start the ball rolling on getting the date, etc.

I agree Damien. Put everybody on a 5 tenths Pro Tree, and let's race. For me, I wouldn't see it as much different than running my local weekend bracket race except all three lights would be flashing when I let go of the button rather than just the top bulb.

I still think the dragsters would have the advantage, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't give it a go for that kind of money (I do it on my off weekends at my home track for much less!)

Move the race closer to Div.3 area. You would pick up alot of cars.

Well my 2 options right now are the Wed/Thursday before the Atco D-1 race or the Wed/Thursday of the Dutch Classic at Maple Grove. Both of them are in October but it depends on what track promotor wants to work with me. I want to make it easy so if your coming out for a race anyways that it's an extra bonus, not have just a seperate race in which people need to travel for 1 day and go back home. I know Joe Sway is always cool with putting things like this together for us and I know Lex will be cool at Maple Grove but it's the first year for them and they might not be all about it just right now.

Boo Boo...I guess the question is, how much closer to Div. 3 area would it need to be to pick up a significant number of entries? It seems like the great state of Pennsylvania is the dividing line. If the race is no further west than Maple Grove, you'll get all the D1 racers and very few people from D3. If the race is no further east than Pittsburgh, the opposite applies.

Central NY or PA would seem to be ideal to try to pull people from both divisions, but Numidia is the only track that I can think of in that general area that would be decent enough to hold an event like this.

Do you think having the race at Numidia would move it far enough west to pull a significant number of D3 competitors? Sound off you D3 guys. Rock? Eddie? Others?

If it is, then it should probably be considered. Plus, Numidia strikes me like a place that would be willing to host an event like this...

The only problem I see with Numidia is they don't hold a big race that most people will attend. I know that the track draws alot of D-1 & D-3 cars due to it's location but the only NHRA race they hold is in July for the National Open. I really want to make it a race within a race just like the S/SS race. I know some people had a tough time getting off of work for that race but, I want to get them enough time to plan out the race and thats a little bit on the quick side to get everything taken care of for advertising and getting people off of work. Plus I know for myself it's a 6 hour tow for me and to make it just a 1 day race would not be worth it. I know Bob Dimino and staff would love to help us out, they have done great things with us and the MASGA series. If the first one takes off at the track of choice if we decided to do one next year I would keep Numidia in mind for a race. We would like to put together a S/G - S/S and a Stock/Super Stock 10,000 to win races in 2009.

I would support both locations with equal value ,,But I'm from Northern Ohio and the Tow for me is about the same,,,6.5 to Maple , where I usally run both the Nat. and Div.,,,,6.0 to Numdia plus easier tow and a track I always ran when they held the Divisionals there......
