Update
First thanks to all my friends on here,sure do appreciate the input. I installed Energy Suspension # 3.1117G motor mounts on both sides and they are just over 1/8 higher (on the bench not compressed) over new stock rubber mounts. I then shimmed them another 1/8 .This really helped. I then loosened the idler arm and tilted it down as much as it would. Lastly I removed the grease fitting and installed a flush plug in both inner tie rods. The steering will just kiss the pan on a full lock turn. So told Dad,leave yourself lots of room in a parking lot. LOL Thanks again
