Allyn Lee showed me how to make monster valve spring pressure hemi valvetrain live when I had him build an engine years ago.
-engine assembly lube on the pushrod cups, rocker rollers where they contact the spring retainers.
-engine oil sprayed on the valve springs, he said they will get damn hot on initial fire up before the windage finally gets there too cool them...that intial heat kills them.
-off course get the drill out to prime the system.
-run lash
No idea what they do now but I know it will be a lot of work and skinned knuckles. Speaking of access holes, remember the holes in the firewall for accessing bellhousing bolts in the SS/A cars we saw way back?

Just what did a 1968 Dodge Dart 426 Hemi and/or 1968 Plymouth Barracuda
426 Hemi weigh before the Super/Stock conversion.

Estimated Weight.

With an Automatic and 8 3/4" Rear ........ #3394 lbs.

With a 4-Speed and Dana Rear .............. #3478 lbs.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LO23 'Fun Filled Fact'

Engineer - Bob Tarozzi had to 'whittle off' {-344 lbs.} off the
'Test Mule' to get to the projected weight of #3050 lbs.

Nice try Paul, but not quite correct for Darts or Barracudas.
