Payers needed for John Rollins
Div 2 S/ST, S/C and ET bracket racer John Rollins was in a serious accident Saturday night at Gainesville Raceway.
John was racing his dragster when it went out of control and rolled past the finish line. He suffered very bad burns to his back and a cuncushion (sp). A positive sign is his memory had greatly improved by Sunday afternoon. He will require skin grafts for his burns in the coming days and is waiting to be moved from the trauma ICU to the burn unit at Shands hospital in Gainesville. The report I got this afternoon is that he is able to get up and walk around some, so that is a positive. No word yet on exactly what caused this accident, but I do know that his car is a 20+ yr old Suncoast car that held up very well in this. Some of you may know John from his posting in this section under the name Rollins2041. Please keep John and his family in your thoughts and prayers through this time of recovery. Thanks. Hey Dan Moore, you're #1. RIP Mark Graham

Re: Payers needed for John Rollins
According to reports today by others on Face Book, John has been moved to the burn unit at Shands hospital and skin grafts will begin on Thursday. Those that have been to visit John say he is doing very well for the situation and has been laughing and joking with visitors that have come to see him.
This shows that prayers definatly do work, but John still has a ways to go so please continue to keep him and the Rollins family in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks everyone. Hey Dan Moore, you're #1. RIP Mark Graham

Re: Payers needed for John Rollins
I was in Gainesville today and got to go by the hospital and see John.
He seemed to be doing well and in good spirits considering his condition. He talked about what he remembered happening and things that he doesn't remember and was told by others. He also talked about racing in the future once he has fully recovered, and possibly traveling along with his brother Jason to the Lucas Oil series race in Commerce in 2 week if he is able. I'd say for the situation, John is doing remarkable and the prayers of everyone is working. He is suppose to start skin graft proceedures tomorrow, so he needs our continued thoughts and prayers. Hey Dan Moore, you're #1. RIP Mark Graham
