air entry base plate?
what is the best air cleaner [i use a 6 high x 14 dia always] base to use to get the most air into a Holley? i have both stock choke horn and milled carbs.
i have these 3 items to choose from; a 15x15 flat plate and cut up factory ford with a very nice radius into the carb. [especially the milled one]. and a K&N stub stack. i do not have a hood scoop [don't want one] and i know no base is not good. thanks rod |

Re: air entry base plate?
I read somewhere that the sub-stack will in some cases actually hurt performance, also jetting changes may need to be made. I was going to try one some time ago until I research it, and decided against it.
