Re: What would I need to weigh?
Sounds to me like 2.4 liter could be carbed or F. I.

Re: What would I need to weigh?
If carb, 2 valve pushrod, automatic-that is F/ED and needs to weigh 910 pounds with driver.
If four valve, can only run F/D, no matter what and needs to 1095 pounds with driver. If 2 valve with purshrods and FI or EFI, you should run a clutchless five speed and needs to weigh 1020 with driver. |

Re: What would I need to weigh?
Thanks for the replies, just doing some bench racing and wondered.
There is a naturally aspirated, overhead valve, pneumatic valve spring, 146 cu.in. V8. That makes 740 hp and 202 ft lbs at 18000 rpm motor out there.... guessing the pneumatic spring part might be tough to get by tech |

Re: What would I need to weigh?
not sure about that but I do not think anything other than a "conventional" automotive valve actuated system is legal--but I've been wrong before
