When Wayne Gooden had the Volare that Scott Macy drives for Ernie Humes now, the back of his trailer said "World's Fastest I/CM Volare". I guess I have the world's fastest GT/HA 5.9L DragPak-powered '80 Volare. 1 of 1. Collector's item.

That is one slick car. When Bob Kammer built that car it was run as a 77 or 78. He then changed the front clip to make it a 80. That car was built like an early Pro Stock car the way the rollbar tied into the round tube frame ties. Bob told me he peeled the quarters back some so he could get the frame ties way back into the factory frame rail in the rear. He also told me the car was 300 lbs light for the class the first time he took it out. I love F body cars, and have followed this one over the years. You have a good car there, and I hope to see it again at Mason-Dixon this fall. Kammer build some good engines back then too. I set a couple of records with his stuff, and I always went through tech!.The car looks better than before, good luck with it. Nice lettering too!
