A mother of 9 year old twins heard someone trying to get into her house. She and the kids hid in an attic storage space and after the intruder searched the house he finally made a big mistake. Armed with a crowbar, he opened the door to her hiding place and she unloaded 6 shots with a 38 hitting the man 5 times in the head and neck. She made him stay down while she and the kids ran to the next door house. The man got into his car and made it 1/2 mile before crashing. He is critical. 6 previous arrests in the county since 2008 and just served 6 months for assault and probation violations. The Loganville Patch has the report as does the AJC. One of the cops who was interviewed said she was taking the shooting beter than he did his first one. Just goes to show you not to mess with a mother and ger kids.
My duaghter got a Walther 380 for Christmas and will get a permit to carry. Too easy to get one in GA but thats a different story. But at least she can handle a gun and can shoot.
