I've been a drag racing fan as long as I can remember. As a kid I watched video tapes of legends such as Bob Glidden and Don Garlits and quickly became my highest dream to one day become a drag racer myself. However, like any other motorsport drag racing is expensive, and even if I could afford it the season here in Sweden is about as long as the off-season in the USA is short. This plus the fact that there are more drag racers around the world than there are iRacing members (Imagine how many fans of the sport there are, like me.) is why I think iRacing should give us the first realistic virtual drag racing experience ever.

What do you say, wouldn't this be a fun practise tool? Imagine racing your friends in virtual Super Stockers on a rainy and cold sunday evening.

I ask because as a drag racing nut who can't afford real life racing I really want this, and I don't think it will happen without support from real life racers. Pulling a wheelie in a virtual SS/H Nova may be the closest I'll get to my biggest dream coming true, if iRacing will do this that is.
