chassis shop in East Texas or Dallas area?
We need a bar or cage put in our 2004 Corvette. Can someone recommend a good shop either near Tyler or DFW that does quality work? It still has the IRS and we don't plan to go to a 12-bolt.
Thanks. Scott |

Thanks. I can't believe I forgot them. I've seen their cars advertised for sale every once in a while and they seem like first class built race cars. They don't have a web site but I will call. They're only about an hour from me which is nice.

Re: chassis shop in East Texas or Dallas area?
Thanks guys. I appreciate it. Called around today and talked to Vic at East Texas Race Cars. What a nice guy! The price was very good; not much more for a custom 8-point cage and net than what a prefabbed bolt-in 6-point costs from several places. Plus he puts in extra bars above the driver to keep them inside the car in case of a belt failure since the roof is removable. The best part (besides them doing FIRST class work from what I hear) is they keep the car for one week. Yep, one week. I was expecting months and months. That's what we are going to do this winter.
