Their is still a lot of winter left and a lot of us are trying to get ready for next year. You know cleaning, polishing, checking, adjusting, maintaining, and whatever else it takes to have a successful race program.
I hope this thread is more than this product is bad, we all want to here the good stuff too. Not trying to help out the competition, because they are fast enough, are the products from California Car Cover Co. that I like. The Car Duster, Golden Shine, and the Car Cover. They all work well. Turtle wax metal polish for me was very disappointing, Mothers paste does a good job, but always looking for something better. Any recommendations? |

Larry, give Adams polish a try, it's the easiest and best aluminum polish I've used. What I like about it is it's easy on and easy off and makes my wheels look great. I"m also a big fan of California Car Cover products all of my cars have their cover on them.

For an aluminum polish I also like Mothers but if you ever see those guys at a national polishing big rigs, buy some of whatever their secret sauce is. I have also been impressed with the ICE detailer and quick waxes ... How can you beat a California car duster or a water blade, good stuff.
It always seems like a loooong winter.

Lou's 222. Seems to be the most popular with my customers at Peterbilt and our in house detailer, works well on polished aluminium , even bare fuel tanks come to life, works well by hand or with a machine....

Best polish for aluminum wheels, chrome, stainless is "The Original Purple Polish". Made in the USA by California Custom Products. The problem is that it works so well you better buy two bottles because you start to polish everything! Google it, you can buy and find it easy. Dyno

This is the aluminum polish:
California Custom sells it. A little goes a long way. In Omaha, a local Freightliner Fleet/Rental company keeps it in stock in their parts department. You only need the deoxidizer for old nasty aluminum. |
