Paint shop, I think they DA with 1500 and buff. He said they'll do a final buff/polish when it's all together.

They did, and I'm not sure how they did it. I did however have a car painted one time and the guy had the primer sanded so smooth it almost had a gloss to it. That was 30 years ago and the car still has the same paint on it today.
