Taller bumpers for ramp door
Does anyone have a recommendation for 6-8 inch tall rear ramp door bumpers? 39' GR gooseneck. The transition from trailer to door is too steep as it does not have a dovetail.
The originals are captured by an aluminum, square trim ring that is pop riveted to the door. Image: https://photos.app.goo.gl/jyS6scSWcy1uzDZ7A Thanks Clark Last edited by cad; 09-21-2020 at 10:48 AM. |

Re: Taller bumpers for ramp door
I have an old Classic trailer.
It uses some rectangular square tubing under the bumpers to raise the door up for the fold down ramps. |

Re: Taller bumpers for ramp door
either fabricate something that will work OR look into getting some loading dock bumpers or too into a semi trailer supply company--it seems they use something like that to cushion the trailer from slamming into the loading docks--

Re: Taller bumpers for ramp door
I used loading dock bumpers purchased from McMaster - Carr on our Gold Rush and Intech trailers. You might have to do some adapting.
