Re: Yella Terra shaft rockers
I am on my second set of them. The only downside that I have found compared to full shaft sets is that you can't move the pivot point like you can with full shaft stands. Other than that they work really well and have been pretty bullet proof for me. The only problem I ever had was self induced.
Getting stand height/sweep set up is pretty easy. Setting lash is the same as any shaft set up. Pricing is decent compared to full shafts at less than $900 for SBC sets. LGM rockers are $1199 as a comparison. Curtis |

Re: Yella Terra shaft rockers
They have some great products, good prices, and good technical support.
I've had great luck with their stuff. As far as moving the pivot point goes, they offer different height stands for many of their systems, and if you're careful, you can shim them with hardened AN washers or shims. They have some setting fixtures to make getting the alignment easier. NHRA really needs to get them approved for Stock Eliminator. They'd solve a lot of problems for a lot of racers.

Re: Yella Terra shaft rockers
Yella Terra rockers are tentatively approved for NHRA Stock Eliminator.
Specific part numbers, which meet the NHRA rule requirement that no machining be required for installation, are accepted. Contact Jim Petrakis at Yella Terra. Also contact NHRA Tech, with a specific part number for your particular application. Note: These are NOT "shaft rockers" in the same style as the Jesel and T&D shaft rockers commonly used in Super Stock. These rockers bolt down individually or in pairs, to the stock, unmachined rocker arm bosses on the heads. They sit on "stands" in a manner similar to "pedestal" type rockers used on OE applications, and are secured by socket head cap screws, the lash is adjusted at the pushrod cup.
