The LT4 was an engine option for the 1996 Corvette, available with a manual 6 speed Trans only. SLP built some 1996 Pontiac Firehawks (Firebirds) with the LT4 engines, put them together for GM.

Now back to the beating!
Once a combination gets hp the odds of getting any off is almost nonexistent. The way the rules are currently only way hp comes off is if it is requested and meets the guidelines of having an average slow enough to get hp off, which is very difficult with a highly saturated combination.

Is it safe to assume the Warren LT1,s are the highest performers?
Do I just need to write the check?

I don't know how many of you have read the new AHFS since it was updated but here is the line from it.

In addition, the engine family must NOT make two runs of 0.650 or quicker or any run 0.850 or quicker during the past two (2) review periods, for the review to continue. Once an engine family receives a horsepower increase it is not eligible for a decrease.

I think this means you will never get hp off after a hit. how far back are they going to go, when you got Hp, I dont know where the line in the sand is, may depend on who you are? correct me if I am wrong.
