I don't think anyone has posted to many pics of Chuck Ostrich's B029 Hemi Barracuda...I've always liked the color scheme of this car.

I love the old cars. In the old days I had a 65 SS Dodge (my favorite) and a 68 SS Dart. What people don't seem to know is you CAN go back. Today you can go buy a 2011 Drag Pak Challenger and take it straight to the track and run 9.60's off the showroom floor. In a wonderful package car. Roll cage, slicks, wonderful car. I prefer the 426 hemi engine myself but you don't have to work on this engine, you just enjoy your day at the track. And don't bother telling me about the money. It's a lot easier to come up with $96,000 today than $5,000 cash in 1968 when your *** was flat broke. You CAN go back. And you will enjoy it.

Rick,

I agree,,
Back in 1968, if your car had a nice paint job and mag wheels, you
were considered 'upper-class'.

And if you brought your car to the track on a trailer, instead of
flat-towing,,,,,,,,,,WOW,,

And those Bock Drag Star trailers were only about $1100 in 1968.

It just seemed like you'd never have enough money to buy a trailer.

Okay thanks for that info but do you know if it was a fairly original car, or was it turned into a modern day super stocker with all the trick parts.

Daryl,

Still stuck on the Michigan quest for LO23 cars.

Hard to believe only '3' original ordered LO23 cars were
Michigan-based.

* Don R. Brewer Dodge, (Port Huron),,,,(Gil Clark; driver)
* Robert Alton, Town & Country Dodge (Farmington)
* Richard 'Dick' Smith, Town & Country Dodge (Farmington)

We can throw out Van Dyke Dodge, as no has seen any documentation or car photo's.

Anyone have any ideas,,,,,,,,,,,or thoughts..

'Top' Michigan Dodge Dealers;
* Arborland Dodge, Ann Arbor
* Colonial Dodge, East Detroit
* Crestwood Dodge, Garden City
* Don R. Brewer, Port Huron
* Flint Dodge, Flint
* Hodges Dodge, Ferndale
* Holiday Dodge, Traverse City
* Motor City Dodge, Detroit
* Northfield Dodge, Grand Rapids
* Schultz Motors, Milan
* Spartan Dodge, Pontiac
* Taylor Dodge, Warren
* Town & Country Dodge, Farmington
* Tri-City Dodge, Ironwood
* Van Dyke Dodge, Warren
* Bill Vreeland Sales, Adrian
* Westwood Dodge, Livonia
