Re: Original hemi dart information
I think we may have covered the converted cars already, but I believe that the only converted LO car to have been found is Larry Griffith's.
The Charlie Allen big block car also, but I do not believe Charlie did the conversion on that car? I think the biggest thing going against the converted cars is being updated to the later body style. For example, as they go on through life, a '67-69 shell was probably more likely to be saved as compared to a '70-72. Last edited by Steve Stasko; 07-12-2012 at 06:43 PM. |

Re: Original hemi dart information
I was putting it out there in search of it's origin.
And, to see if it had been taken back to it's original self (if known) by anyone. |

Re: Original hemi dart information
First time seeing this car and hearing the name. The only info I have is:
"Dick Smith Town & Country Dodge racing at Detroit Dragway in the 1960's." M68

Re: Original hemi dart information
I did a quick 411 search with that spelling, & came up empty. I've had alot of stuff going on lately, & haven't had the time to put towards this yet. When I get back home, think I'll have to give Jimi a call, then see where I can go from there.
In speaking with Mark Janaky awhile back, he told me there possibly was an Al attached to my car. He seemed to think it might have been Al from Big Al's toys, but after calling him it's a no. Is it a coincidence that 2 people are now saying there is an Al attached to my car ??? or is there some grit to it???? liteweight |
