I was in the other lane when Clayton backed up his run on Friday. The weather was great, but not the best we've seen at Atco. .... The big factor was NO humidity! only about 17% and 14 grains of moisture in the air, that little 273 was running on O2 instead of H2O! ..... Baro was @30.35 with a AA of -300'. ........ The track prep was typical for Atco, The Best Anywhere! .....Tom

Atco's track prep is the best......I only got to make 2 runs on sat. but my 60foots were both 1.342 on M/T's that are pretty worn. My 1000' times were also identical to the thousandth.

Yes sir, WAY TO GO.... Maestro, you and Clayton did a great tightrope walk on that one. Great number.
Jack, I don't know if you are behind any 273's, we all think you have some HUGE club waiting for us. Alan, Maestro, Miss Donna and I will be trying our hand at the record game IHRA style at MIR in a week or so. We will be running at the NHRA weight though, just as we did what little we ran last year. Hope we can post a number similar to that of Clayton's but it will take some high stepping..... Daran, where have you been? Peace, Rev. Mopar |

Racing pretty much every week. Try to get as many as possible before the heat starts really pounding. Might run the U car in Valdosta. Come set the record and I'll help you and Dick with the heavy lifting.

Daran - WHAT U/SA car are you talking about? Do you have another. I realize I am woefully out of touch...
Jack, is the wagon ready to race or have you moved it up a class or two? Bruce, I think Maestro might have felt that you were saying he wouldn't have run as well in crappy weather - which he wouldn't.... He does not control the elements at ATCO... Darn, wish we had been able to go, could have given ol Clayton someone to play with... Peace, Rev. |
