Re: "Old Drag Racers"
the 2013 season will be my parents 49th year of NHRA racing and over 50 yrs of drag racing. They are getting up there but still having fun and going rounds. and what is neat I'm there to watch every minute of it. This shot is from a month ago as they did a show at the local vocational school where I graduated from in Shelby,Ohio

Re: "Old Drag Racers"
48 years for me and i just turned 59 last month..........i started out with my parents taking me to the drag strip on Sundays and leaving me there to work at tech booth (shoe polish boy) marking classes on cars At 12 years young and it went from there to a longgggg relationship with drag racing....I do not regret it at all...Best sport in the world..........

Re: "Old Drag Racers"
I'm still going strong. First raced at Pomona with a flag man in '58. I don't know if it's more fun now, but I can afford it more.
