well hey thats even better than either of the other options. the thing i dont like about the proform is the fact it just jams the end of the ring into the side of the wheel and the wheel deflects. and over time the wheel will develop a low spot where the ring continually rides. the better ones run the ring all the way across the wheel thus keeping the end of the ring truer and the wheel true at the same time. i tried to figure out a way to change the orientation of mine but couldnt do it. i just frequently change the wheels as they are just a couple bucks a piece and rings are a lot more. good luck and i would like to see some pics.

I have a new Childs and Albert ring filer for sale if someone wants it. $350, brand new, just been sitting here.
