A friend of his said that. Another person that claims to have loaded up the wrecked car said that the driver told him that he got on the brakes too hard and that the throttle was stuck after the he got off the brakes. Either way, his racecar is wadded up.

Mr Herb I dont know who you are or if you were even their, but your simple mind seems to have it all wrong. He wasnt trying to SAVE INDEX it was after the finish line. And yes the gas pedel was stuck. Brandon did a good job considering what all he was going through in such a short time. Thank God he is ok and the car can be fixed. The car is really not as bad as the wrecked looked.

josh i wasnt there, but i was told from people at the finish line that it took a nose dive before the finish line, he wondered if that finsh line strip started the right tire to lock up when he went across it ?

None of the skid marks I saw when driving up to the car started at or before the finish line, they were a little passed. From what he said the peddle stuck and he was shutting everything down pulling chutes pushing in clutch and pressing the break he may have got on them a little harder than normal (thus causing the caliper to break ?) It just came around on me. Bad deal to a great person.
