Re: I should have said "valve gap issues"
The leak down is 7-8% passenger side, 10-11% drivers side. Found 2 rockers that are questionable. The valve springs were 210# to 270#, I don't think that's enough for a .714,.714 solid roller cam. Mikeo, our local head guru is picking up the heads tomorrow to do a valve job, tune up the ports and new springs. The rockers are going back to T&D for a tuneup.
Thanks for all the help.

Re: I should have said "valve gap issues"
you might want to make sure the pushrods are not rubbing on the heads - that can cause the pushrod to deflect and not seat properly in the rocker, possibly making it feel "spongy"

Re: I should have said "valve gap issues"
There are wear marks in one spot on 3 of them, just concentric circles. I will open the holes a little when the heads come back. I've got parts scattered all over the country now.

Re: I should have said "valve gap issues"
T&D said my rockers were fine. Comp rebuilt the lifters just because.
Talked to the head guru today and he said I had a "bunch" of broken valve springs. He also said "it wasn't a happy motor". I had some detonation issues and it loosened up some of the valve guides. One thing for sure, it's going back together with good springs. Maybe the springs on the out of the box dart heads weren't the right ones for my cam. I dunno!
