I spoke to Don last year at Indy and he said the car was so comfortable to drive, almost scary when you realize how fast you have gone. He had a smile like a little kid. Gotta love it.

Speed was 153.88. Much more left with clutch and tranny tuning. Heard the motor was de-tuned, as well.

Re: Is this the 1st 8 second Stocker ?
You knew this was going to happen as soon as the 6.0 class was added.
I believe this will cause all of the stockers to be caged as part of the saftey requirements. Maybe even 32/5 pants and jacket. I am planning for it. I still have to congratulate Don. He is one who works on his car and doesn't hold much back. Makes me want to own one. Chris. What do think he would run with one of your motors?

Great Job Don, Wow is that fast. I remember when the Rasier gang went 10.99 in A/S in the 70`s. Thought that was quick.

Congrats to Mr. Fezell. He told me last fall he had something up his sleeve for the car over the winter and it shows. 8's on 9's!!!
Best part for me is it is the "Daddy Warbucks II" car. A tribute to my idol and good friend Phil Bonner.

6.50 x 466HP = 3,029 + 170 = 3,199 pounds
Moroso calculator: 3,200 pounds @ 8.95 et = 152 MPH and 850 Horsepower This run will be a banner headline for the paparazzi.
