How did the Gators go ?

Well the sportsman portion of the Gators is in the books. Congrats to the winners and RUs in SG Jonathan Anderson over Greg Slack in SC Ray Miller III over Ken Moses. Jonathan's win was made even more impressive by winning in a car he drove for the first time. Our race didn't go as hoped. After getting lucky and making two fairly good time runs 9.92 and 9.89 I was feeling pretty confident I could get close to a 9.90 WRONG. With the same numbers in the TS as I'd had with the 9.92 I motor on down the track to a 9.81? The dumb thing was I knew my opponent wasn't going to catch me and I lifted off the gas. DUMMY the cars already idling. Just another way to lose. Oh well, it was good seeing our racing family again. We had a good time off the track and we're looking forward to seeing them again next year.
