Re: 69 Camaro B/S
Unfortunately nothing!!
Between work and trying to get my dragster back together I haven’t had a minute to even look at it. I was planning on going to Maple Grove for the divisional but with the threat of rain I plan on spending the time on it. Brake lines, little more wiring and a clutch pedal stop. The plan is to have it running and driving around by mid July. Hopefully get it to the track in August. |

Re: 69 Camaro B/S
Unfortunately I still haven’t had the time to get it finished. This new account I picked up for work has been running me ragged. I was able to get some racing in with the dragster. Last race I broke a 2nd valve spring so I’m done for the season. I should have a month off and I plan on attaching the camaro full force.

Re: 69 Camaro B/S
Time to blow the dust off this thread…..for Barry Parker and everyone who has followed and gave advice on my build!!
Few weeks ago I decided it was time to get this car out. I set a goal of making the divisional at my home track the last week in August. My 1st issue was the tire deal. I know it’s not a ideal situation but I decided on the Hoosier 29x9. Big thanks to Keith Bennett for finding me a pair! Whoever said the last 10% takes 90% of time wasn’t joking but I’ve been picking on stuff the last few weeks and I’m starting to see progress. Last weekend I was able to flip the power switch for the 1st time. Earlier today I filled and bled the brakes. Tonight I ran a few gallons through the fuel system to flush the lines and check for leaks. Hopefully this weekend I can finally fire it off!!! Today makes 34 days till the track rental before the div. I’m gonna need every one of those days lol |

Re: 69 Camaro B/S
Well 1 step forward 3 steps back…
Was getting the car ready to fire off today. I decided to put some base in the clutch but ran into a problem with 3 of the 6 not adjusting. After pulling the clutch it turns out when they rebuilt it they had the bolts to tight in the adjuster so they were just spinning. I’ll spend the day tomorrow putting it back together.
