First pic I've ever seen of Bob's Mustang II in red and white paint. Anyone else?

To the best of my knowledge, Don Grotheer never had a 1970 Plymouth Duster.

Hmm, perhaps it was another racer out of the south west, I'm thinking maybe it was Irv Beringhaus. I know I read it some wheres that it was someone else's car before these guys got it, so whose was it then, anyone know.

I saw it run at the NHRA Grandnational near Montreal. This pic is from that race, the "S" on the water barrels stands for "Sanair" the drag strip outside of Montreal, actually "St. Pie. Quebec, Canada". The name "Hauler" was still visable on the doors. It was more orange and white than the red you see in the pic. Wasn't this car the runner up at Indy the year before with Herb McCandless at the wheel.
