Like maybe, just maybe, it's Charlie Castaldo's old car after all (like Tim Hennessey claims).

Mopar 68,

We travelled down that 'Avenue' also.

Tim Hennessey was 'told' that the Dart was Charlie Castaldo's.

Charlie's 'first Dart'; was a 4-Speed, and was sent to a salvage yard in Hunts Point (The Bronx), in 1969.

I was (jokingly) referring to Charlie's second car.

Did anyone ever consider, since "sometimes the obvious is right in front of me, and I just cannot see it", the Hemi Dart in question is not an original Hurst-built car like Fink's machine pictured below? I know that's unthinkable but sometimes one must think the "unthinkable", i.e., outside the box, when trying to solve a problem, figure something out, especially something puzzling, etc.

I'm not sure how to respond to your last post. You caught me totally off guard on that one.
I'm not exactly new at this. It's not even a consideration due to the proof on the car itself. It's the real deal. But to anyone that has doubts, I invite them to crawl around my car to see for themselves. I'll even show them what constitutes a real car. The car speaks for itself for anyone who knows what to look for. It's more than tags & stampings

Might be different if you had NO history on the car.

The challenge, as I understand it, is to COMPLETE the book on this Hemi Dart.

This forum has turned into a historical document on these cars.

Because there are some still unaccounted for.......the mystery continues.
