Is this correct?? To qualify for a bracket event such as the Bracket Nationals, a car/driver needed to be "sponsored" from his home track, which in this case could be Lebanon Dragstrip. In otherwords, that driver/car had to have points to qualify, ie: many passes down the track.
Where I'm going with this, is ......pictures. There HAS TO BE pictures of this car out there.
Who were the track photogaphers @ the time?
Can there be a name attached to this car?

Correct,

In September 1977,

Each Track would send a Group from;
* Super Pro
* Pro Eliminator
* Heavy
* Street

To the 2nd Annual Bracket Nationals @ York US 30 Dragway

Competing Tracks
* ATCO
* Beaver Springs
* Cecil County
* Colonial Beach
* Dragway Park
* Empire {New York}
* Hampton
* Island
* Keystone
* Lebanon Valley {New York}
* Maple Grove
* Maryland International Raceway
* New England
* New London {Connecticut}
* New York National Speedway {Long Island, New York}
* Raceway Park {Englishtown, New Jersey}
* Sanair
* 75-80
* Strato-Rods
* Suffolk
* US 13
* WestHampton {Long Island, New York}
* York US 30

Besides 'Individual Winners' there was also a 'Track Championship' in each Bracket based on Points.

yes light weight you need to accumulate regular season points at your home track to qualify to race at the bracket finals.i don't know how they do it in other divisions but in division 1 it is a big deal.
to scoop lido's real name slips me now but I know that he was one of Charlie castaldo's cousin or in law. I think some where in this thread lido's real name is posted.

1977 ~ 2nd Annual Bracket Championships 'NED 1' at York US 30 Dragway {Pennsylvania}

September 24 & 25 {Saturday and Sunday}

* Super Pro........................ to 10.99
* Pro Eliminator....... 11.00 to 11.99
* Heavy..................... 12.00 to 13.99
* Street...................... 14.00 and up

When I remember that Dart in Mt. Kisco, at the Service Station next to
the Mt. Kisco Movie Theatre, it had an 11.10 or 11.40 shoe-polished on the windshield.

You've confirmed rumours I've heard of that black Dart in Mt. Kisco being slow

From what I've been told the nick name of the owner "Two Scoop Lido" came from the fact the car had a second hood scoop that was grafted to the top of the original scoop of this car.
******************* I NEED TO KNOW THE OWNER'S NAME******************************
&/or
Who was Lebanon Valley's track photographer
&/or
who was the track announcer?
&/or
names of racers that competed @ Lebanon durring this time frame
&/or
ANYTHING that even MAYBE of little revilance
