While perusing the wares on eBay, I found this pic of DeRosa's Dodge from a June 27th, 1969 issue of DRAG TIMES newspaper that was being auctioned.

I have never seen this car before. Have you?

This is the DeRosa car today. Currently in MN.
Love this one. Old school early 80's SS car, with leaf springs.
check out the front wheel well trim

I really respect the fact that this car retains all of its "last time it was raced" characteristics. To me it's a shame that many of these cars have had their period correct chassis, roll cage and motor mods removed in favor of as delivered stock components. Late 70s throughout the 80s is the era of SS racing that I liked best since the leave spring / ladder bar cars did huge nose bleed wheelies that carried out forever.

Be kind of interesting to see a few of them parked side by side.

Original,as delivered.
Early S/S
Early Pro Stock
Today SS/AH

Sort of an evolution comparison.

Well, yeah it does. Just trying to find a nicer way of sayin' it. I've been told "photo session" can be defined as a long four letter word.

Early Super Stock, i.e., day two, sometime in 1968.
