In two or three years they may be within a couple of classes where they belong. Like many, but not all DPs. Best we can do is in a heads up is try to push them 1+ under. Even if it means pulling 100 lbs out to do it. Don't weigh round losers, do they? Other than 1st round of class. LOL
I agree with the post but I would caution the taking of weight out of your car especially if you car is reasonably fast for the class. You must be mindful not to screw up your own factor! You are likely to run faster than you have ever run before, and even if you are not weighed you could loose TWICE! Just sayin'. Jim

Jim, the average for my class, last time I checked, was slower than .85 under. I'll keep an eye on that. I cant run 1.1 or 1.2 under.

Don't you get a "one time quick run"?

Yes sir, but we have to also make them run too far under more than once.

It's simple if you have money running out your ears, build whatever combo you think is underated,go blast index, get factored until factor is right, then go back to your combo that you like that is then on level playing field.LOL

you are actually forgetting the biggest thing you can do to affect the outcome of the rule makers. Don't show up for the big race.Email the directors as to why. Give them a months notice prior, then follow up after the race.

Each person would only only have to miss one race with the emails to prove why and after a couple of similar situations coming up the rule makers would notice. Their are plenty of races per year we attend, choose carefully. no matter how much money we spend on our race cars, fun is the factor that keeps us coming back. i had a blast bracket racing last season at a track i have never raced at before, Lancaster has got it figured out!. my schedule this year has more bracket racing slatted in it than stocker races.

Its pretty hard to lower prices on the best selling item in you store knowing the complainer already owes two of them!
