I read that a little fast and thought it said "Now have to sell daughter, getting married and need money for wedding."

Re: Wanting to get into Stock Eliminator...
......by using any Dakota from '92 to '96 you can upgrade the cam lift to the later .457 intake, .462 exhaust specs of the '95......just claim it as that year.....
just remember that any later model vehicle that has to run an upgraded computer system will add significantly to the cost of your project..... D L Rambo.....Stk 1300 |

Re: Wanting to get into Stock Eliminator...
I see alot of good choices here. I am also considering getting into Stock, but would need to do so on a budget. I have a 1989 Chrysler 5th Avenue. Would this be a reasonable choice or not? I think they were built from 84 to 89. They are cheap to buy and have a 5.2 V-8 and rear wheel drive. The Dakota option sounds great also.

Re: Wanting to get into Stock Eliminator...
I cant help you guys that are thinking about trying it out with combos or any of that stuff. But what I can tell you is what has been said a bunch of times on this site. BUY one dont build one. If I had just wrote the check instead of trying to build one I would a have already been running a long time ago. Instead I just pulled my car out of Body Shop prison number 2 on monday.

You can start a search in National Dragster for current Record Holders and see which Mopars hold them. Some unusual combinations...that fly.

Max Wedges are expensive to build and run and then you have to contend with the dreaded new cars. I've been looking at the '64/'65 426/365 combination but Bob Mazzolini thinks the 383 would be a better choice JimR
