Re: Las Vegas Nationals
I sure will Floyd!
A bit of a cluster but I'm parked. They took us up the back side of the track up and around the end of the track. Then back down the return road. Well they did that for the first 191 rigs. I was 192 go figure. Myself leading 30 other rigs had to turn around because the track was going hot. Basically the E.T. cars were going to make their time trial runs. We all ended up in the staging lanes. After a 45 minute wait there I was the first car to get parked from that spot. The place is full because for some reason about 150 parking spots are block off and the pros take up their normal area. They are still removing the carnival cluster taking up the spectator parking area. All that I can say is the staff are not carrying smiles on their faces. There was at least 100 motorhomes in a line being parked on the north side to spectate and enjoy the nice weather we will be having. Paul |

Re: Las Vegas Nationals
I just watched live timing for first round of stock. Brian Mcclanahan, Hoven and Wann all in AA, sure wish they were running Class! Realize it’s an altitude track but the more live timing I watch the more impressed I am by the 60’ times for Larry Hill and Jim Marshall.

Re: Las Vegas Nationals
Glad to hear some Stockers went down the track already.
9:30..No detailed results on live timing yet (No DRC either ,but that's a private deal.) Does the janitor at NHRA have to walk by and see the blinking download button? What takes so long, in this day and age? Shouldn't it be done automatically ? Pitiful

Re: Las Vegas Nationals
Wann is in AA with his ‘63.
I don’t know what it is about the first day of a race. It’s like they pretend they don’t know it’s happening ahead of time.

Re: Las Vegas Nationals
That's a step up for Wann. Wonder what he did. He had a winning A combination for a long time.

Re: Las Vegas Nationals
Wow! All 3 are really close and fast. Butner is on the bottom of the sheet.
