Not sure why Orlando was swapped to the end of the year but as Jim stated Ozzy must have a reason.

Re: NHRA Lucas race schedule
Would be nice for D2 to get a double like some of the others.

Re: NHRA Lucas race schedule
So far only Phoenix and Vegas are on point for D7. Moreover, there's only 4 races here, and a TBD. What's going on with Tucson? Sonoma?

I saw a statement on here that said "Montgomery didn't ASK for one" Simply open the check book and pay for one. That us up to the track owners discretion. Last time I talked to Todd at Tulsa he said it took about 400 entries to break even on a points meet. Remember the large financial loss San Antonio suffered with the storms hitting Louisiana?? Track owners put on events to make money and just the prestige of having an even can be costly. Track owners that put on NHRA divisional events need our support.

Re: NHRA Lucas race schedule
I heard Bradenton wanted a D2 race, they could have put it between SGMP-Gville.

Re: NHRA Lucas race schedule
We just really need to hope and pray for a dry spring here in the Northeast or it could get ugly. This is just the first few weeks of racing in D1 and the National Open schedule hasn't been finalized. I know some will say that we have Mid-Summer to fill in any delays but, that is the time now that the local series come to life, ECSSSA, ASRA, Mid Atlantic .90, NESSA and it's tough to grab a date once the track's schedule is completed....heck I had tracks calling me in Mid September for dates.
22nd to 24th – Houston National / Atco D1 /Silver Dollar (D2) 29th to 1st – Charlotte National / Galot Fling Race /Bowling Green PDRA May 6th to 8th – Mother’s Day Weekend (No Racing) 13th to 15th – Virginia National Event 20th to 22nd – Cecil D1 Race /Rockingham (D2) 27th to 29th – Lucas Oil Event at MG / PDRA Norwalk June 3rd to 5th – New England Nationals / Norwalk D3 10th to 12th – Leb Valley Lucas 17th to 19th – Father’s Day (19th) /Bristol National |
