Congratulations, Alex
Looks like you had a good weekend, I'm putting together my list of stuff to do to the Olds, I'm working toward having it the way I want by next year. I will be getting the Ranchos and Calverts soon.... Marvin |

Maybe a little late but it never hurts to hear it again--GREAT JOB. Enjoy North Carolina and take home some cash as well as their famous barbeque. Dave Bishop East Coast Drag News Magazine

Re: Congratulations to Alex Denysenko
Thank you to everyone for the salutations and all of the congratulatory e-mails. It was almost a career weekend for sure and I do appreciate the accolades.
I am still smiling! Apparently even a blind squirrel can find a acorn once and a while. I could not have done it without the help of my beloved fiance Beth and my son Tony who is the best sportsman crew chief on the planet. Nobody can read a starting line like he can. We would also like to thank IHRA, starter Bill, and Byron dragway for working hard to overcome what seemed at times insurmountable complications and allowing us to get both events in. What a outstanding way for us to introduce our new sponsor, NPD (National Parts Depot) to class racing. I would also like to congratulate our good friends of over 30 years, the Kucera family Ken Sr, Ken Jr, and Kevin who we introduced to this addicting sport in 1977, on their runner up finish in Stock. Ken Jr got to his first ever final round at Byron and I am certain he will win one now very soon.
