Irv I have been talking with Chuck Lofgren (Lofgren Automotive) for the past couple weeks about this problem and how NHRA is going to meas. dome height and deck height. He has been in contact with Bruce and hopefully this can be resolved by the end of the PRI show. Will all these pistons have to be returned to diamond for a stamped ID # As per the stock rules ?

I would think it would be done the same as the 426 has been for many years. Same concept Drop the piston down a specified amount and cc the cyl.

I think about the only way Paul Mercure and Mike Keener would race a Challenger is if someone give them a "race ready" car for free and it better be a S T I C K. Park the 68 camaro for the challenger ya right. If that happens then I know Keener & Mercure must have broke into my pharmacy and took more than a handful of vicodin, xanax, and maybe some anti-psychotic drugs lol...Luke

I talked to Bruce today and was told its a "non-issue" things were supposed to be different, but they arent, I asked about pullig and having the the ID'ing done by diamond, and was told by Bruce , NO I didnt have to do that. Apparenty there was confusion on what he , rightfully wanted for the other techs, and they will from now on but it dosent make ours illegal, its just going to be tougher for them to check. And well.....thats that.......at least from my perspective. But I had to make a call to him anyway so it worked out well.

They're testing at PBIR next week. That's when the results will be known.

Might have a 2010 with the 392 Hemi. Who knows. The Fiat Option will be 2011, and will be a 528 Gen II. It will either have a Barton or Wescott motor, jury is still out on that option. Will run D/SA @ 298 hp. Has two 1000 cfm throttle bodies.
Jeff, what class does it fit with a 360"?
