As some of you know I’ve run these motors for years. Both the 70 LT1 and the 71. The only difference is the compression with the 70 being a point or a little more higher. Andrew’s car runs pretty good, but it wasn’t cheap to get it there . Lots of cams, converters, carbs, headers,ring packages, etc. it’s fairly easy to get to 7 or 8 tenths under, but the last 4 or 5 tenths are expensive.
