After 300+ passes on our ProCharged SBC we are putting it on a hub Dyno. I guess the main thing we'll learn is the HP & Torque peaks; not looking for any more power.
It was nice making it back to the track for some racing this past weekend. We hadn't raced for 2 months & during that time we took a 5-week road trip. We kept to the Northern part of the US & the farthest East we went was Niagra Falls. In total we put 6,000 miles on the truck & did numerous things along the way.

Back to racing, I went to an outlaw dragstrip & got a win. It was a 6.0 index class on a .500 pro tree; no boxes & no throttle stops. The track got a light spray of glue & one drag that I saw. Plus, the track was old asphalt, only concrete for the burnout box. Needless to say, I was a driving fool! The car was set-up to go mid to high 5.9s. The payout for the win was $1650, more than I expected!

I have the car ready to take the hub dyno this coming Mon. We are going to baseline with our current set-up. Then I have a change of plans, looking for 50-100 more hp. I hope to do it with more ethanol in our base fuel & more timing. We currently use Sunoco GT street legal fuel 100 UL & it has 10% ethanol in the blend. We plan on mixing to get around 45% ethanol total. Thanks to Wallace Racing Calculators we need to mix 2 gal. of E to 3 gal. of our base fuel to get there. I do have a tester to measure the %.

We also ordered another set of Hoosier 18213C30 radial slicks to replace or M/T PBRs.
