Patsy is ok to be in the house by herself so my plans are to install the transmission and get it inline with the pinion.

Dumbo got a package yesterday from Holley we will open it today.
I just can’t believe how much time it takes to do stuff that I don’t usually do. |

Stuck in traffic on I 65. Yesterday was a good day everything lined up well and got the engine , transmission, transmission shields and shifter hooked up. One of the more difficult items to install by yourself is the radiator. It come up from the bottom and the bracket is mounted to each side of the frame. We still have a laundry list of stuff to do.
We are still waiting for a call from F.A.S.T. we called them before Indy on the help line. Still no help. Looks like Fast is dying a slow death. |

Had a good day at the dyno I learned a lot. If I would have thought things through I would have brought more parts to try. Next time for sure. On the way home the the information learned might and probably will create a potential traction problem. Still trying to catch up with the Fords and Chevys, I hope we are getting closer

To all who build there own stuff, this is what I scraped out of my new manifold for my new engine. The casting sand and the "Dingell Berries" I was able to scrape out with a dowel. I think a stiff wire tooth brush will work to get the rest of the sand out.
So much for quality control. That junk would have destroyed a set of piston, rings, cylinder walls, valves, and valve seats. |

Kudos to Larry. I have never seen such attention to detail. Wow! Talk about Blueprinting and Balancing as we used to say!
