And, I've been told that the Challenger is even heavier.
They're fun new cars but they sure aren't lightweights.

Jeff, as long as you're alive, doing well, and having fun with your Camaro, that's all that matters to me. With great people such as Woodro Josey, and too many others from this site, plus loved ones of (and also) people I know of not affiliated with our favorite sport (who are going through challenging health issues), I give thanks every day for my good life, my good health, for all that I am, and all that I have. It sounds like you have a great car that you have lots of fun with, and you're healthy enough to enjoy driving it...how's that for giving thanks for your now known good?
As for my post from above yours, I will correct myself in that my brochure on the 2010 Challenger didn't have curb weights listed in it afterall. However, what I displayed and what you confirmed with your post showed me that although the Challenger's and Camaro's (sans the factory built race versions) are not lite-weights, they are around the weights of their mid-70's pony car (including the pre-pinto based Mustang) cousins (35-3800lbs). However, even with smaller engines, they could run away and hide from their predecessors on either a drag strip, road coarse, or oval track...thanks to the extra hp they get to enjoy.
I hope and pray that you continue to live well, and be able to further enjoy your 2010 Camaro, as I also hope that everyone who reads this that has a car they love will be blessed with the good health (and life) needed to enjoy the mechanical masterpiece that's in their garages (if not at the strip or on the open road)!!!
