Grover Rogers Obituary
Not sure how many people would remember Grover. He was an early top fuel/funny car racer who passed away November 4. He was from Waco, Texas and had quit racing by the mid 70s. Since I grew up in Waco it was pretty cool to have a T/F car in town. Encouraging for many small town kids who wanted to race to know that he could race at that level. I even bought one of his trailers back in the 70s. RIP.

Re: Grover Rogers Obituary
That’s a pretty neat story Mike.

Re: Grover Rogers Obituary
I was at Nitro Revival in Irwindale and waiting to talk with Vance Hunt when a guy asked him if he heard Grover Rogers died. It wasn't a familiar name to me but Vance knew him.
