Re: David Layer
Dave was one of the absolute best guys out there, I'm really going to miss him. One of my favorite memories was in Belle Rose in 2012. I believe it was Dave's first time down there, but he got runner up in the CIC race and went double-0 red in the semi's of the main race. I thought for sure that he was going to win them both, he was on that weekend. When I think of Super Stock, Dave is one of the first people who comes to mind. We lost an excellent friend today. DeDe and Lindsay, I can't imagine how hard this is for you, you're both in my prayers. Rest in peace Dave.

Re: David Layer
Words are just not enough to express our sadness in loosing one of our Super Stock Division 3 family members. Dave will always be a part of our many happy racing memories. He shared his quiet laugh and his smiles all the way from Nevada ,Florida ,Indiana and back to Ohio. God bless you Dave you will be missed but never forgotten. Dede and Lindsay May God be with you at this very sad time. Love Mark and Elaine

Re: David Layer
Our condolences to the Layer Family. Dave was an outstanding gentleman, he was always great to talk with, a well respected competitor and one of the best examples of CLASS in the way he befriended all of us. We will miss him but he rides in spirit with us all each pass. Terry and Sheila Dye
