Re: Musical Tastes
Good choice Mark. Never heard that version. Obviously I like it better than the dumb'ed down version ..
Supertramps "Crime of the Century" is in my 5 top albums off all. There isn't too many albums or CD's that you look forward to playing the entire thing. This is one such album. I'll pick a song that on a good system, is mixed superbly. Good impact, dynamic everything. And a good tune ...

Re: Musical Tastes
Good post Mark on some local boys!.When Randy Bachman left the Guess Who in the early 70's,he formed BTO with Fred Turner. They were one of the hardest rockin' bands in the mid 70's.Every car guy had a BTO 8 track!.The band had a drag racing connection,Fred Turner was the flag starter at our local track in the mid 60's.This track may not be as well known as their others, but you can't mistake Fred's voice!...gsa612

Re: Musical Tastes
I'm gonna rough it up a little bit today. I always liked this song from Aerosmith. I've heard it Steve Tyler's favorite song of theirs.

Re: Musical Tastes
Eddie, in post #3 ( first page), I sent out "Get The Led Out". If your a Zep fan, listen to them and their newest promo video I posted..It's a walk back in time .....We had six tickets second row back mid section at Midland Theater in Newark Ohio (seats 1700) and covid ruined it...These guys just sold out Red Rocks Theater right before the virus.. Get the Led out adds two more players so they can add all the over dubs. The original Led Zeppelin of course did not do that, so all their live appearances sounded "live". They had no way of putting one guitar or voice recordings on top of another one, like is done in the recording studio. These guys add two more people so the live appearance sounds EXACTLY like the album. They even have a back up singer. Its refreshing..
