Was the wiper motor a S/S requirement?

Can't remember that far back.

Just wondering why they would have been retained when losing weight was a priority.

Minor detail but this whole topic is a history lesson.

I always wondered why they had wiper motors & windshield wiper blades myself...but some ran without them.

Liteweight, have any luck finding out any info on your L023 yet...how did Bob Frey make out with any new information about it? Did you ever find one of those 1977 programs.

Haven't heard anything back from Bob yet. I have a couple other leads I'm waiting to hear back from also.So, nothing new to report.
Haven't had any luck finding that 1977 program yet either.

300,000 views & closing in on 2000 posts. Who whoulda thought
