1982-1992 Camaro/Firebird upper strut mount
Does someone build a solid/race style upper strut mount for the 3rd gen cars?
Or is the OE mount acceptable?

UMI makes a set as well, and i think its a grey area in the rules............shouldn't be any different than the solid control arm bushings

Re: 1982-1992 Camaro/Firebird upper strut mount
I would like to hear from racers running a 3rd gen about what upper mount they use. Basically I want to know, is the OE upper mount OK or does a solid upper mount offer an advantage.
Because of how these car pick up the front wheels my thought is that the factory style upper mount might offer enough flex or damping to help smooth the set down.
