What are you Ford guys using for front shoes on the early years? These cars are not known for having great stopping any brand that is better than the stock replacements?
Thanks! |

I like Ott's Friction Supply Abex premium linings on the front drums of my 66 A body GM. Good stopping, no fade.

Re: Brake shoes 64 Falcon?
Before I switched to Wilwood front disk brakes I'd use the cheap shoes from Autozone. Change them out when needed. Still use the cheap ones on the rear. The cheap ones seem to hold better at the line, they don't need heat to work. Using a duel master cylinder for an early Mustang without power brakes.
