Default Dave Hall passes

I am saddened to report that our good friend David Hall recently lost his battle with cancer. Dave has a long history drag racing in Division 6 as a racer and as crew on several stock and super stock ventures but perhaps Dave is best known for the red Chevy Nova D/SA that he built 30 years ago and has raced ever since. Dave’s home track is Mission BC and although his last trip down the track was some time ago he always ensured that his Nova remained fully serviced and race ready.
When the phone rang in my shop, it was often Dave … “Hey, you need a coffee?” and he’d show up to see what I was up to, to lend a hand, or sometimes just to chat. He was a loyal friend, I learned a lot from him, he will be missed!

Dave’s family has provided the following links to his obituary and memorial pages:

Rest in Peace Dave. I met Dave a better part of 40 years ago, we worked together for 25 of those years. Sharing knowledge and a difference of opinions at times over 4 decades will surely be missed. Common ground could always be found with a cup of coffee. The weekly lunch table will no longer have our Race Result or recent Racing News Reporter. Dave always brought a race story or statistic with him where ever he went. All the “Coffee Cup Consulting” we did, will be memories held. The friendship, laughter and his stories will be missed. In his infamous departing words “I’ll love you and leave you”. Dave, “You Loved us and Left us" too soon. MB

Sorry to hear this. I never met Dave. Sounds like a guy that was loved and will be missed by many. R.I.P. Dave.
