Strange Brake Rotors Crack

Anyone experienced this?

Was looking over the car when i noticed that both front brake rotors are cracked all the way through between the louvers(?) and the outer edge - two places on each rotor. Would have been ugly. No excessive heat etc. Not sure age, maybe 2-5 years.

Better look at. These are very noticeable.

Strange rotors got the nickname "lettuce shredders" on dragsters for the same problem......My car had a pair of Strange rotors that did it and I only discovered it during the off season......I bought the car used and had run it quite a bit before I noticed those splits in the rotors...

They sell a 2 piece version and a stainless version

I switched to Mark Williams brakes after throwing to many rotors in the trash after not a real high number of runs....and also tried Wilwoods.....they don't split but they warp.....

This seems to have been an occasional problem on the older Strange one piece rotors .
I had two rear rotors crack at the same area several years ago. ...Usually it's on heavier cars or like mine, too much speed and not using the parachute.
Since switching to the newer two piece rotors I haven't seen any issues .
I regularly inspect the brakes after each race have not seen any cracks or deformation.
