Default Roller spring perches worth the money?

I got a 64 Falcon wagon been running it for a while with everything stock on the front end! It has some cheapo Autozone shocks also what about the Calvert shocks see them alot also? They make kits for the perches has anybody here ever done them?

Thanks!

Blind,

the Calvert folks are very knowledgeable. I suggest calling and talking with them about your setup.

They are worth their weight in gold on a leaf spring car with ladder bars along with a solid slotted front spring bushing. The slot should be parallel to the ground. I would thing with Calverts setup you with both but check with them you don't want the spring to bind up the movement.

You want the double roller perches so that the shock does not bind....depending upon how much separation you have it could be minimal to a lot.

or.......you can convert the bottom shock mount to an eyelet with a spherical bushing and do the same to the top if your fab skills are up to it and the rules allow it.

The opentracker products are nice quality pieces if you do purchase them
