Default Lack of NHRA support for Sportsman @ INDY

Hi,

I went looking for a schedule for the INDY race........

Went to the NHRA website, found INDY, clicked on schedule and guess what......................................

This year INDY doesn't start until Friday September 2, 2016.......

There is no mention of Thursday Qualifying or Friday Stock Class Run-offs..................................

Friday has no mention of Super Stock Class Run-offs..............

You would think that NHRA, as stupid as it is, would promote the Sportsman Racing on Wednesday & Thursday just to make money....

As far as NHRA is concerned we, Stock & Super Stock, don't exist

http://www.nhra.com/schedules/FanSch...=2016&code=II1

Just my thoughts,
Bob

Try www.nhraracer.com or more specifically http://www.nhra.net/2016/images/NHRA...uleII12016.pdf

To the paying fan, and not a racer, we do not exist. How would a paying fan find us at NHRA.com....

Does the paying fan even know that there is Heads-Up class racing at an NHRA race????????????/

We talk about it, but how about NHRA promoting it????

Bob

Bobbo O'Mulry,
.... and it's been that way like forever..
30 years ago, I had friends and family watching The Wide World of Sports or whatever the hell it was at that time..They didn't even show my name,...or any other sportsman ,for that matter ..
Of course you knew that.

Red face Re: Lack of NHRA support for Sportsman @ INDY

NHRA is not going to spend any money, time, or effort to promote sportsman racing. Its small potatoes to them. They only care about the big dollars they can collect from the racer on entry fees and what they can rake in from the spectators for the big show.

This is not new news, it's always been that way and will continue to be that way and we all still line up like sheep, I go knowing its that way, it's never gonna change as long as we all still go. Sad but true
